Method

Brush the inside with oil and bake on a sheet for five minutes.

Simmer sliced figs, sugar, and cream in a hot pan.

Hollow out the panettone leaving a 5mm thick edge.

Preheat the oven to 220°C.

Whisk in butter, add liqueur, and flambé carefully.

Fill the toasted panettone with the fig mixture and serve.
