Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden-brown.

Make small incisions on the surface and brush with milk.

Roll the dough from the long side, join the ends with milk, and shape into a heart.

Roll the dough into a 50x20cm rectangle and spread jam over the surface.

Knead the dough lightly on a floured surface until smooth.

Stir in sugar and gradually add milk until a soft dough forms.

Rub the flour, cornflour, salt, lard, and butter together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
