Method

Serve burgers in the toasted buns with your choice of toppings.

Form the mixture into four patties approximately 3cm thick.

Chill the patties in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes.

Brush one side of patties with oil and grill on a hot barbecue for 5 minutes.

Oil the other side, flip, and grill for 5 more minutes until cooked through.

Rest the burgers for 5 to 10 minutes.

Toast the halved burger buns on the grill for 2 minutes.

Mix onion, garlic, chilli, beef, and egg in a bowl and season.
