Method

Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

Gradually incorporate the flour mixture and stir in the crumbled chocolate.

Roll the dough into 5cm diameter logs, wrap in film, and refrigerate.

Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Slice the logs into 2cm thick rounds and place on a baking tray.

Cream the butter, sugars, and vanilla in a separate bowl before beating in eggs.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
