Method

Mix the cornflour with the milk and set aside.

Heat the evaporated milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Add the condensed milk, double cream, cardamom, and cornflour mixture.

Stir the mixture well for one minute.

Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

Blend the mixture in a food processor or with a hand-held blender for two minutes.

Pour into a lidded container and freeze for at least six hours until firm.
